Jonathan James "JJ" Jewell

Jonathan James Jewell, (know as JJ)  41 years and 10 months, of Nebraska City, Nebraska, passed away on October 27, 2016, in Syracuse, Nebraska.
Jonathan was born December 27, 1974, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of James Allen Jewell and Bethany Dawn (Holman) Jewell. He graduated from the Nebraska City High School in 1993.  Jon held many job during his life, which included being a meat cutter for many years and most recently for Honeywell - American Meter Company in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Jonathan has three children: daughters, Jazmin Jewell and JaLynne Jewell; and a son, Jayden Jewell. He really enjoyed to draw, cooking, listening to music, playing his guitar. Jonathan was preceded in his death by his grandparents: Neva Holman, Hilda Hathaway, Kenneth Jewell and Robert Holman.
Survivors of Jonathan include his children: daughters, Jazmin Jewell and JaLynne Jewell of Syracuse, Nebraska; and a son, Jayden Jewell of Nebraska City, Nebraska, mother, Bethany (Beth) Ervin and husband Roy of Nebraska City, Nebraska; sister, Heather Williamson and husband Bryan of Nebraska City, Nebraska; aunts; uncles; cousins; special friend: Nikki Baker; long time friend Lynne Hofker; and many friends
Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Peterson Mortuary Chapel.
Celebration of Life Memorial service for Jonathan James Jewell will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the Peterson Mortuary Chapel in Nebraska City, Nebraska.
