I am currently reading Margaret's book, Sterling's Carrie. I am really enjoying the book and wanted to find more out about it's author. I appreciate the history I am learning.

Virginia will be missed. We worked together at Fourteenth Street School and Hayward School in Nebraska City. She was so willing to share her resources. Her "Johnny Appleseed" puppet with a pan on his head was enjoyed by many students. She was a gracious lady and a wonderful storyteller.

I did not know your mother Paula but I believe that she will continue living through you. It takes good parenting to raise a great family like yours and as one of your classmates I know you're a product of that. Your mother is alive and living with the LORD and waiting to be reunited with her family. GOD BLESS you and your family during these times of rejoicing her life you enjoyed with her on earth.

A very intelligent, sweet, loving, and caring woman. I have pleasant memories of her and Rev. Ott when they lived in Varina when I was a "youngster". Blessings and condolences to her family.

Virginia was a colleague of mine at Hayward Elementary in Nebraska City. Students looked forward to her wonderful stories and love of literature she passionately shared. She had a gift of connecting with people on a very human level. I'll never forget her words when she retired...'they say teaching is to touch a life forever, well teachers touch each others' lives forever." Thank you Virginia for touching my life forever. Blessing and prayers for the entire Ott family.
