It was an honor for me to know and serve in the United States Army with Master Sergeant Mina Yeager. I first knew Mina when we were on recruiting, she in Vermont and I was in Providence, Rhode Island. I remember the wonderful weekends a group of us would share. We were a hard working group of recruiters but we also had fun. Mina always had a smile and a cheerful way that made everyone love her. Just a month ago we had a telephone talk and she still had that wonderful way. I never knew a sharper soldier, dedicated to her service and her country. I will miss her very much. May she rest in peace with her friend of many years, Mary Lee. They started their careers four months apart and made their journey to heaven six months apart. May God Bless them and may they rest in peace. My deepest sympathy to Mina's family.
