Shaun Derrick Edwards, Sr., age 48 years, 4 months and 3 days, of Nebraska City, Nebraska and Hamburg, Iowa, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014, at the University Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Shaun was born on August 9, 1966, in Walla Walla, Washington, to Roger Paul and Linda Lou (Waggoner) Edwards. Shaun was a faithful member of the Now Times Ministries and attended the Faith Baptist Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the United Apostolic Christian Ministries. During his life he enjoyed restoring classic cars, cooking, traveling, collecting guns and jewelry.
He is survived by two children: Shaun Edwards Jr. Of Portland, Oregon and Jessica Edwards of Spokane, Washington; two step-children: Brian and Julianne; siblings: Shane Edwards, Shuree Waggoner, Sharla Kuhlmann, and Shannon Edwards-Ginter, two grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. Shaun was a wholesome friend of Albert and Linda Zook and Charles Clark and lifetime friend of Tiffany Flack. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Viewing and visitation for Shaun Derrick Edwards, Sr. will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. with a remembering and celebrating his life funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at the Faith Baptist Church, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Burial will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Clifton Cemetery at Coryell Park near Brock, Nebraska.
