I was sad to see the posting of Bobby Dean's death, but now I know why I haven't had a letter or call in months. He was my teacher in Osborn, Missouri, when I was 12-13 years old and he was a handsome mid-twenties. I had a huge (innocent) crush,, but after that year thought little more of him until reunited with him at a reunion at Osborn and met his wife, Lupe. I told him of my secret crush, and he seemed pleased that I stilll remembered and told him of it. He was well loved and respected by we students.

Bobby and Lupi were our neighbors in Lincoln, Nebraska near 13trh and A. They were awesome neighbors and always helping us out in one way or another. One time there was a huge snow storm and many of us lost power. Bobby and Lupi power was the last to come on, so we strung a long extension cord from our house to theirs to give them power for a few days. He always gave our kids fifty cent pieces when they were born, they are taped inside of their baby books. A wonderful person with a big heart. Our prayers go out to you Lupi. God Bless. Sending my Condolences to Tia Lupita. Uncle Bobby was a fine gentleman. I remember when you and he would come and visit with our mom, Petra Aguirre. He will be missed.
